Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QuymnyDB, including the website, dashboard, APIs, and cloud SQL database services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

QuymnyDB provides a cloud SQL database platform that allows you to create databases, run queries, manage schemas, and connect from applications using connection URLs and tokens. Features, limits, and availability depend on your plan (free or paid).

2. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding passwords and tokens.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available and strongly recommended for real security. Enabling 2FA reduces an authenticator app or recovery keys in addition to your password.
You are solely responsible for securing recovery keys. Loss of 2FA access without recovery options may result in permanent loss of account access.
QuymnyDB is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from weak passwords, shared credentials, exposed tokens, or failure to enable available security features such as 2FA.

Security recommendation: Enable 2FA in Settings as soon as possible after signup.

3. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to store, process, transmit, or host:

Sensitive personal data that you are not authorized by law or consent to process (including special-category data where restricted).
Stolen or compromised account data — including credential dumps, leaked passwords, session tokens, or any material obtained through unauthorized access to third-party systems.
Licensed material from other sites or vendors without a valid license or permission allowing storage and use in this context.
Copyrighted material belonging to third parties without authorization (including scraped full works, pirated media, or unauthorized copies of software and content).
Patented material or trade secrets of others where storage or distribution would infringe rights or violate confidentiality obligations.
Content that facilitates fraud, malware distribution, illegal surveillance, exploitation of minors, or any other criminal activity.

You are solely responsible for all data you place in QuymnyDB databases and for ensuring you have the legal right to store and process that data. QuymnyDB does not pre-screen all customer content and is not obligated to police every dataset.

4. No Liability for Customer Content

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuymnyDB is not responsible for:

Missing, incomplete, or incorrectly structured data you choose not to store or fail to back up.
Sensitive data you voluntarily store despite these Terms and best practices.
Stolen accounts, credential leaks, or exposure of third-party systems related to content you store.
Storage of licensed, copyrighted, or patented material from other sites or owners without proper rights.
Claims, damages, or disputes arising between you and third parties regarding ownership or legality of data.
Losses resulting from your failure to enable 2FA, protect tokens, or follow security guidance.

If we receive a valid complaint, court order, or evidence of illegal or infringing content, we may suspend or terminate access, remove data, or cooperate with authorities without prior notice where required.

5. Reservation of Rights

QuymnyDB reserves all rights not expressly granted to you. Without limitation, we reserve the right to:

Investigate suspected violations of these Terms.
Suspend or terminate accounts that store prohibited content or abuse the Service.
Refuse service, limit features, or change plan limits.
Protect the Service, other customers, and our intellectual property.
Pursue legal remedies against users who misuse the platform or harm QuymnyDB’s rights or reputation.

The Service, branding, software, documentation, and related materials remain the property of QuymnyDB and its licensors. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service according to your plan and these Terms.

6. Plans, Payments, and Billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at purchase (monthly, yearly, or one-time “Fix” plans where offered).
Payments are processed by third-party providers. Successful payment may be required before plan benefits apply.
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
We may change pricing with notice for future billing periods.

7. API Tokens and Connections

Database tokens and connection credentials grant access to your data. Keep them secret. Do not embed production tokens in public client-side code. You are responsible for any use of tokens issued to your account.

8. Service Availability

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, and force majeure events may affect availability. Free plans may have stricter limits or lower priority.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUYMNYDB AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM CONTENT YOU STORE — INCLUDING PROHIBITED OR THIRD-PARTY PROTECTED CONTENT — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF YOU USE ONLY A FREE PLAN).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuymnyDB and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) data you store or process; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your infringement of third-party rights (including copyright, patent, license, or privacy rights).

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion subject to verification steps. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for Terms violations, non-payment, legal risk, or abuse. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and data may be deleted according to our retention practices.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or email when appropriate.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to QuymnyDB’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
